Can anyone tell me if it looks like I’ve removed all the root rot? Some of my plant leaves are curling up as if they’re dehydrated so I’m worried that they will not recover or I haven’t properly removed root rot. I plan on moving the plants to either LECA or PON but I want to try and make the roots a little stronger first so that hopefully they don’t die while they’re going through shock from the substrate change

Yes. Try cleaning it with a bit of hydrogen peroxide (NOT alcohol)

I’m sorry you got rot 😩 It looks good but I agree with zollol, cleaning it with some peroxide on it to kill any remaining bacteria

Is 70% good? Also do I just spray the roots or am I supposed to soak them…?

70% might be a bit too much for the roots. We usually recommend 3%. Give them a light spray. 😊

I believe it’s the 3% hydrogen peroxide NOT 70%, when I had a bit of root rot I used a small amount of peroxide with water, then soaked in solution, then used a small artist brush and wiped all other them + any cavities, you will here a fizzing sound, left for about 10minutes, then gave a good shower, not sure if that’s the right way or not, the brown soft bits think need cutting, hopefully the root hasn’t penetrated into the stem
