Monstera

Hi! I’ve just returned from a two-and-a-half-week vacation and found several yellowing leaves on my Monstera, although many are still green. I watered it thoroughly before leaving, and it may have been watered again while I was away. The soil is still damp. The blinds were also closed, so it received much less light than usual. Could this be caused by excess moisture combined with low light? What should I check first, and should I inspect the roots? Three of the newer leaves are also turning yellow and brown. Should I leave them on the plant or cut them off? Is there anything I can do to prevent further damage and help it recover? 🌿

How disappointing! I don’t know what to tell you for this one but next time you might buy a grow light because even the cheap ones you can put them on a 12 hour timer.

It looks like it was over watered .. I personally would unpot it to check the roots , if there’s any root rot you’ll see it. If their is damage I would cut off the damaged roots and leaves and sadly repot what you can save and start over.
