Who thinks this croton will live? I brought it home on July 26 and transplanted it into some chunky soil. I don’t know if that happened right away and the roots might’ve been too wet in the beginning. I also was putting “ sexy plant Juice” on all of my plants and only one other had a problem getting burned under the light and that’s out of 50 of them. But this one got burned in one day! Now it’s lost all the two leaves. There still is no sign of a new leaf. Will it live?
We're not going to discuss how many croton plants I've killed over the years. 😂 Meanwhile, my mom had one for well over a decade and the thing is thriving. She passed last month and I'm quietly laying odds on how long it lasts until my dad kills it accidentally. 🤪 I have two different varieties, currently ...and they're doing great...so far. Time will tell. I don't trust myself.

I'm guessing she shocked when you transplanted her. I have the same one and she took her repot well. I've never had an issue. But sometimes just diddling the roots too much can make them freak. If it is shock, the good news is its recoverable and she just needs to figure out her roots
2개 좋아요 It is also worth noting that the new growth on these is slooooow to start. That part alone is not what I would ride on regarding health 😩
