Try trimming off the heads that are turning black. That way the pant isn’t using energy to sustain a head that it at the end of its life cycle and can instead focus on new growth

👋 I am new to carnivorous plant, my first is a cape sundew. I learned they need distilled water only and the more light the better, so I have mine under a grow light.

Mine sits right next to a small humidifier! I hope yours bounces back!

I’ve researched but have not gotten into them yet because of their care. They need very high humidity, distilled or RO water, and several hours of direct sun. These are absolute needs with little leeway. Are you meeting these?

Venus fly traps will hibernate in the cold seasons. The plant will look like it dies entirely, but the root ball in the soil is doing just fine. Store it in a cool place, like a garage for example, over the winter. Keep watering it, but at a reduced level. It’ll bounce back come spring
