Just got a couple of new plants that are currently in quarantine, but spotted these black spots on them? Any idea what is causing it?

Don’t worry sister, I got you :) Those spots look like they might be fungal (like anthracnose or bacterial leaf spot), which can flare up from stress during shipping or sudden environment changes. Even with quarantine and good airflow, spores can still linger around if the humidity is high or if the leaves were damaged. What I’d Try: - Wipe leaves gently with hydrogen peroxide (1:10 with water) to stop spread. - Remove affected leaves if spots spread or get mush - make sure the leaves aren’t wet (don’t water overhead and don’t mist) If it keeps spreading fast, you might be dealing with a bacterial issue, and a copper-based fungicide can help. Even healthy-looking new plants can bring spores, so you’re smart to quarantine! Keep an eye out for yellow halos or fuzzy mold too, those are giveaway signs. I’m crossing my fingers for your plant, you got this!
