Hi! I’m at a loss with my Areca palm (he has never once let me experience peace lol). The first pic was taken 10 days earlier than the rest of the pics. I repotted him into a bigger nursery pot and pruned a lot of his brown tips. He was doing well and had been happy with his humidifier. Now 10 days later… he’s freaking out? He’s had brown tips before but I’ve never seen him with this type of discoloration. Have I killed him?😂😭 I greatly appreciate any help!!!💞

0개 좋아요I did use some of that plant Velcro stuff just around the base to help keep mine from splaying out. You could try that around your 2 maybe. Mine has been in indirect bright-ish light without a humidifier and seems okay with that. It was also a decent size when I got it. Might just need some time post repotting and pruning too!

I don’t know who told you palms are easy but I’ve definitely struggled with every single one that crosses my threshold. To be fair, I’ve also killed several that claim to be easy so I’m honestly not sure yall. I’m kinda here for support and to learn as well.
