Help. My cactus drooped. Do I cut it off and how? Also, do I put the baby directly in dirt or ? Thank you

    Hi there! A cactus with a droopy tip usually indicates severe dehydration or the start of dry rot. Looking at the soil it seems very hydrophobic. Sooner than later, I’d suggest soaking the roots to loosen up the dried soil, removing the soil, and repotting into the same or smaller pot (depending on the root condition). I would also suggest chopping where the plant has begun to droop. Maybe propagating in 2? Chop where the first segment begins closes to the base of the cactus. Hope all goes well!!!

      Definitely agree! That soil looks like cement! I’d get it in some good loose soil.
