Hi :) so I have a handful of these sundews and I LOVE them. My only problem is I’ve been having issues with them losing their dew and or getting dry. I usually have them sitting in water and whenever I notice the tray is empty I refill it. Is there anything I’m doing wrong and/or could do to make them happier? Let me know your thoughts , thanks! :)
High temperatures can have an effect on the sundew’s ability to create moister, if your house is really dry that could be a problem. It seems that you have them in a well lit area so it should be okay, I’d also make sure the water that they’re getting doesn’t have any additives. Hope this helps!!
좋아요 1개 Thanks so much! I noticed the sundews doing worse in higher light so I moved them to a dimmer spot, but it’s in the bathroom so it should be plenty humid I hope. Also, the water is filtered and nothing is being added so it’s weird! I have no idea what’s causing it exactly , thanks so much for your help!

좋아요 1개 Hmmmm okay thank you!! I had them in a bright window sill but they seemed to dislike it for some reason! I’ll get to the bottom of this haha
0개 좋아요 Yes, I’d keep them still exposed to light, maybe just not so close to the window. If it’s still directly facing the light in the bathroom I might move it to a slightly dimmer area… keeping them in the bathroom is a good idea though :)
