Okay.. okay…. I’ve about had it with her. She’s stressing me out.. from spider mites, root rot, dropping two leaves and now giving me a weird misshapen and rotting new leaf… ugh what should I do! Please for the love of goodness someone help!!!
It’s hard to tell when she was under stress from other issues. Typically, it’s low humidity that makes it hard for new leaves to unfurl without damage when the plant is fully healthy. You can try a humidifier near it or wrapping it with a moist towel a few minutes to soften the new leaf. 🪴🍀

Mine also gets spider mites semi frequently so I try and keep up with preventative sprays. I will say the leaf drop is very normal - mine only has max 3-4 leaves at a time and will drop the oldest one when a new one is coming in. Have you gotten down into the roots to check for rot and clean them off? Also mine is named Goofy haha
