    I dunno, with that shiny silvery color it looks more like a springtail to me. Did you find it on the plant itself? To check if it's a springtail, try poking it with a toothpick or something else small and see if it suddenly disappears/jumps away from the poke. Thrips fly (poorly) and crawl, but can't fling themselves absurd distances at high speeds like springtails can.

      i had found a couple in the soil!! there was one in the soil of one of the plants nearby as well! i had placed my finger near the one, and it barely reacted just continued walking aroynd! i threw away the one plant i found them in bc it was just a propagation, but iโ€™ll check the other plant tonight and find another bug to see how it reacts!
