FILTER FOR GARDEN TAP My flowerbed is watered using an irrigation system connected directly to mains, and I’d love to add a filter for both chlorine and limescale removal, to help the more sensitive plants. Is installing such filters a good idea? Looking for a general chat on the subject. I can only find filters that either do gasses, or limescale, not both. Which would be better to eliminate? Any sharing of experience, including products used, would be appreciated

I have a Recreational Vehicle (RV) water filter from Amazon. They are typically charcoal activated removing chlorine and other chemicals. The low cost ones, under $30, removes 20 micron sized particles. The expensive ones remove 0.05 micron particles or smaller. That should remove scale and rust in residential water. Some come with a hose adapter.
