Hi everyone! My Aloe Vera and Plume Asparagus plant have something… | Pests, diseases and problems | Planta community

Hi everyone! My Aloe Vera and Plume Asparagus plant have something growing / living in the topsoil - I have not looked throughout the soil to check for more. There are loads of tiny white balls surrounded by a hairy material (it looks like eggs - but I’m not too sure). The Aloe Vera is more affected, whereas the Plume Asparagus only has a small patch in the topsoil (again, I have not checked throughout the soil for more). I have included some pictures. Please can ANYONE tell me what this might be and if it is bad for the plant. If so, please can you also tell me how to eradicate it, if necessary? p.s. both plants are very healthy and I follow Planta’s way of care. Thank you thank you 😁😁

Looks like a fungus to me. I would replace the soil, maybe add perlite or something to the new mix for aeration. Running a fan, especially after watering, can help prevent fungal issues
