My monstera has thrips!! I’ve been inspecting and inspecting and even spraying insecticidal soap to prevent (after I found thrips on another plant nearby) and I still somehow missed it! I’m working on isolating it but I feel like it’s too big to rinse off in the shower. Any tips to thoroughly clean the whole plant without also watering the soil? Someone talk me off a ledge!
Take it outside and use the hose? That’s what I usually do with mine on spa day during the warm months.

You can try to put the whole pot temporarily in a garbage bag to avoid soaking the soil while you wash those nasty pests off!
