I got a golden pothos (named him chuck norris) a few weeks ago at ikea, and it was doing great. But then a few days ago, his leaves started turning yellow. They’re multiple pothos propagations and also has some brown spots. What should I do?

I’d check for pests, repot into better soil, being from Ikea it’s probably in too dense of soil, and cut off the yellowing leaves (they’re just pest attractors)

1 likeAwesome! Glad to stay on top of it, definitely add some nutrients and get some mosquito bits or nematodes for the gnats so they don’t get your other plants. Could also be general shock from terrible conditions to nice ones lol
0 likesI don’t know about the brown spots, but for the yellowing leaves maybe it’s lacking nutrients? Use Epsom salt (make sure it’s not the ones that have the scents)—-you can get them cheaper at the Dollar Tree if there is one near by you.
0 likesThank you both for the advice, I’ll check for nutrient deficiency, and I think I just saw some gnats flying around. I really hope he’ll recover.
