Morning all :) Seems like my emerald is having a moment. Been sticking to a fairly minimal water schedule, once every 3-4 weeks and fertilising at the same interval. Even got new shoots coming through strong. So why are my leaves turning mustard😂?? It’s in a westerly facing window so my only assumption is that sunlight is just not suitable enough for this guy anymore.

That sunlight is good! If it’s just that leaf, it’s nothing to worry about. If you’re noticing a pattern I would fertilize less. These want to rely on their rhizomes and if you’ve been fertilizing every time you water, there is plenty of fertilizer stored in those rhizomes. I’d lay off feeding for a while 😊☀️

Maybe one or two other leaves have gone through the same but I think it’s all for the same reason. Definitely over-fertilising like you said 😊 thanks for the tip!
