Hello! i just bought this Monstera Deliciosa and wanted to see if i could have some opinions of what it needs. quite a few of the leaves have brown spots on them and are dying. The person i bought it off of said that they watered it once a week.
I would clip off anything super damaged, you can even just snip that portion of the leaf. I'd pull it out of the pot to take a look at the roots. If anything is mushy, or if it's super root bound. Remove rot and treat, if you see it. If it's not too crazy bound, just slide it back in the pot till spring. Id give every leaf a shower and flush the soil really well with water. If you have a fungicide I'd spray it down every 3 days for 3x. After it dries up from the flushing, the next watering I'd add a 1/4 diluted fertilizer. And just keep checking over for pests.
좋아요 1개whenever i get a new plant i always shower it just incase of pests. when i took this plant out of the pot i found that a lot of the roots were stuck in this.
Oohh thats weird. I wonder if it was some kind of lift or something (to boost the plant up in the pot), I've never seen one before.
