   The water dropping can be totally normal or it can be a sign of overwatering! That might be why the leaf is droopy!

     If the reason it’s drooping is indeed due to too much water, it will. If you allow the soil to dry between waterings and it has good drainage then that’s not why it’s drooping and letting it dry out won’t help at all, and could possibly make it worse.

   I’m not familiar with this particular species so I could be mistaken but it looks to me like that leaf has just reached the end of it’s life cycle and is dying to make room for more growth. Non of the other leaves seem affected? The discoloration of the stem on that leaf is very similar to what I experience when my begonia has a leaf die. It doesn’t drip water when that happens but it makes sense to me that leafs that hold more water might drip as they shrivel.

     Sad!! In that case, I would try letting the soil get dry and waiting a couple or few days longer than I normally would before watering again. Especially if nothing about the lighting or location of the plant has changed.
