Hi y'all ! I've had this fiddle leaf fig plant for years ! Never had this issue- one of the leaves is turning black ! Only one so far. What could be the issue ? Thanks !

    I don’t know anything about your plant or its location. I have the same kind of plant and it looks like some kind of injury to the leaf. Like it’s gotten folded, smashed, or pinched somehow. 🤷‍♂️

    Or maybe heat damage from the sun or other heat source?

    Hey y'all thank you for the replies - I did take it outside to get "some sun" ha I'm here in Texas so possibly it did get some damage from that. It doesn't look like it would have root rot right ?
