This plant went from thriving to slowly dying a few weeks ago. Not sure exactly what it is or how to prevent losing the plant

    Ha i have the same plant and it does the same thing. Now years later all the bottom leaves are gone and the top leave look nice but eventually, as the top grows more leaves, the bottoms will die! So I'm following... oh i just cut all the brown leaves off.

    Are they crunchy or soft? It looks like it might be an overwatering problem. They like to go completely dry before watering.

    Increase the size of your pot, put some peat moss in the soil to retain moisture so it’s not over watered. Set in a lighted area without direct sun light for a while, keeping an eye on the soil. Also try installing a self watering device that allows the plant to self regulate. I find them super helpful once my plants are well enough. Amazon sells them but using an upside down clear washed out soda bottle (8oz) with small pin holes on the sides works nicely too.
