   Looks like scale😬 i dont have experience with it tho. Hopefully someone chimes in with advice

   Agree with Christina, it is scale insects. Try to remove as much of it as you can with a soft brush or a paper towel and start treating it with neem oil once a week for 4 to 6 weeks. If you want to email me I can send you some more info! morgan@getplanta.com

   Yep, it's scale. You can kill and remove them with a q-tip soaked in isopropyl alcohol (spot treat only where you see insects; alcohol can burn the plant). Use a gentler insecticide like neem oil to spray the whole plant. Treat it again every five days to ensure you're getting the young scales (older ones can resist gentler pesticides, so spot treat those any time you see them with alocohol.) Scale insects' life cycle is 31 days, so if you go a full two months without seeing any, you're definitely done with treatment. Scales also travel, so quarantine your plant and keep an eye on any other plants in case they spread
