0 likesI don’t think that’s the best pot
2 likesIncase you’re wondering about drainage it does have drainage. Other than that idk what else is wrong?
0 likesWell, if I’m right this is a panda plant. These plants typically have very shallow roots which means they tend to grow outwards, not down. That being said your pot looks too tall, the width of the pot is okay tho. This may cause a person to overwater (meanwhile the bottom soil is still very moist). My tip, stop watering immediately and let the soil dry out completely-stick your finger in; it should feel dry several inches down. This species thrives on a "drench and drought" cycle, meaning water thoroughly only when fully dry, and reduce frequency in cooler months. You should also check for root rot. Ensure to place it in indirect sunlight, like near a south-facing window, or add a grow light. Gradually increase exposure to avoid shock.
1 likeThe pot itself, also looks like a tin pot. After a long time with water accumulation it can also cause rust and that can seep into the soil. I would repot the plant in a better pot.
1 likelol tin, doesn’t rust-I’m arguing with myself here😂
1 likeThank you so much! I moved it to the sunniest room in my house and I’ll avoid watering it for a bit because I just did like two days ago 😬. Thank you!!
0 likesNeeds for this plant are lots of bright light, after being acclimated. Morning sun if possible. Water routine of bone dry, then drench. Leaves will feel rubbery. Proper succulent soil which is very gritty. Look up recipe if you want to make your own. Best pot is a shallow terracotta pot.
