Can anyone help me figure out why some of the leaves on my peperomia hope plant are curling? Overall the plant is healthy and even growing new babies... could it be from getting too much sun?

Oooh I’m not sure, I just start a little starter hope plant too. Could it be a watering issue?

It’s definitely a watering issue — determining which one is always the trick. usually it’s an inconsistency. how often do you water and when you do, do you water thoroughly so that water runs through the pot? This isn’t a major cause for concern so don’t worry too much!

Might be enough sun but not enough nutrients in the soil or with the water when you soak it. The leaves could be trying to grow their leaves and expand but they don’t have enough of the propped minerals (NPK) to make full and flat leaves like they previously did. A repot with organically rich soil or liquid fertilizer would likely do the trick and get them back to big round flat leaves.

Thank you! I follow the watering and fertilizing schedule on here and water thoroughly allowing the water to drip, the pot has good drainage. Could the size of the pot be contributing to the issue too? I’m wondering if the pot I have it in is too big

I don’t think the pot is too big, if you’re following a good schedule, watering regularly, and feeding it it’s likely okay unless it’s root bound in the pot. Maybe just wait it out and give it some time. It may not be a problem at all just a slight variation on the leaves shape, which is totally normal
