My Mendoza peperomia has started making mutated leaves. What could cause this to happen?

Peperomia leaves can curl from drying out, OR overwatering, or a need for fertilizer (which can be accompanied by overwatering, due to root rot too)

Is there a chance you may have over-fertilized it? I did that to my pothos and the leaves looked burnt on some edges. If that doesn’t sound right then: - If they feel crunchy it’s likely under-watering or too much sun. - If they feel more mushy then it’s likely overwatering; in which case you want to make sure the soil fully dries out between waterings to avoid root rot. Good luck! 🫶🏻

Do you mist it? I have a watermelon peperomia and she LOVES being misted. She’s also in an East-facing window, part sun part shade and loves that too. Idk if all peperomias like to be misted or not. But if yours is similar to mine then that & the lighting could be something to look into!
