Looking for some advice with this ficus. I relocated the plant ~10 months ago, and it freaked out and lost quite a lot of leaves. It’s completely stable now, but it hasn’t grown ANY new leaves since. I have also noticed that the leaves it kept are now slowly developing yellow patches. I use well draining soil (rocks, pumice, perlite) and water every ~5 days. Plant also is near a window and has a grow light 2 feet away for the winter months. I have another ficus that has the same specifications and has been growing fine. Any advice on what could be going on here would be appreciated!

In the spring I noticed mine was also dropping leaves (some yellow) and not growing new leaves. I removed the stones that were on top of the soil (original decoration) and let soil dry completely every time before watering. After watering, make sure to drain pot from excess water. I also added Miracle Grow plant food. Ever since, it’s been green and growing new leaves.

Yours is growing new leaves; those tiny green tips on the branches are buds, and will eventually gain size and make new leaves and stems. The older leaves tend to stay for a long time. It's normal for them to turn yellow and drop when they age out, and they'll soon be replaced by a new leaf. These shed leaves on a regular basis, and will drop a lot of leaves suddenly if they get stressed. If they get really stressed, they usually let some branches die back to try to save energy for others. They're super tough little plants
