Help with my pitcher plant ! Ekkk! I just got this plant and one of the pitchers were brown and wrinkled, it looks like over the last two days another pitcher followed. I haven’t done or changed anything besides gave it water and hung it up by a window. Any ideas ? Thank you!

What’s the humidity like where it’s at? These guys like pretty high humidity

I’m sure it’s not as humid as it requires but I’m guessing it wasn’t good where I bought it too. I’ll try and move it next to a humidifier and see if that helps. Do I need to remove the damaged pitchers ?

They definitely like a humid environment. Also, the change in environment could have shocked it a bit especially if it was a significant change in humidity.

Since you just got it, it's likely stress and humidity. The other possible is growing season starting, but i don't usually see too much loss from that. Id either get it a pebble tray while it adjusts or try a different way to raise humidity, cloche, cabinet, misting, etc.

Thank you. I’ve been misting but maybe it’s not enough.

This I have not been doing. I will start and see if that helps. Should I remove the brown or damaged pitchers ?
