Hi! My air plant is looking terrible right now. Does anyone have any ideas or know someone I should ask?

    I water it about every week and put it in direct sunlight

    I mist mine then shake off the excess water the water sits in the groves of the plant at the bottom and causes rot which is what it looks like in your case. I only water mine 1 a month
