MY BABY IS DYING I NEED HELP QUICK! I repotted her and I just began gardening I misted her periodically with water and she was fine after repotting and misting the leaves became mushy and she stopped retaining water and lost all her basil leaves. HELP ME SAVE HER SHES MY PRIDE AND JOYYYY ( incoming second plant ) HELP MY BEAUTIFUL BABY CELOSIA I also repotted her and I beleive I may have no strung the roots out enough so I just re did that with both plants both have been given miracle grow repotting fertilizer.

    I think basil is seasonal and dies back? At least that’s what I tell myself when it dies. I think you have to replant it yearly but also I don’t recall them being a humid liking plant. The soil can dry out too quickly.

    Not sure why you’re misting the leaves but you shouldn’t be. It should be in well draining soil and deeply watered then let soil dry before rewatering it
