Can someone help me figure out what’s going on with my friends plant? The app says it’s “under fertilized” could that be the issue I was going to repot it for her but wanted to get some opinions before I did that.

    Check if it’s root bound. That’s a large plant for such a small pot. Maybe the soil can’t hold enough fertilizer. What type, how often , and how much fertilizer is being used? How many hours of light does it get

      Ok so from what she told she’s never fertilized it🤦🏽‍♀️ lol so I’m that’s part of the problem and it get a descent amount of light (I’d think) since it’s in a NW window but she did get a new nursery pot for it so I can repot it for her tonight.

      Fertilizing is necessary to keep houseplants healthy. Use 50% diluted fertilizer in colder months when plants grow slower and need less nutrients. I would fertilize once a month until spring. Then, twice a month. I use diluted fertilizer all year because most of my plants don’t need it stronger. You may have to increase the application in warmer weather depending on the plant. 🍀🪴
