My plant’s roots turned brown and the leaves fell off. help! my plant was thriving upstairs in an area with lots of bright, indirect sunlight, and it had lots of healthy roots with 3 healthy leaves on the stem. i moved it to my room and put it in an area with more direct sunlight, and the roots turned brown and the leaves all turned yellow and fell off. the stem is still green and healthy but the roots are a mess. what happened? and is there any way to save it? all feedback is very appreciated :)

It could be that plant doesn’t like direct sun….also if my plants are happy where they are I try not to move them. I try seeing if there’s any viable roots and pop it in a pint container with moss.

Because the glass is curved it magnifies the light, warms up the water, and creates the conditions for root rot. I just had to move mine away from the window for that reason.
