monster_maniacyea the leaves look kinda sunburnt if the bottom leaves are falling off then its ok bc older leaves do that

Do I need to take it away from the window into a less direct spot?

yea i would say so im not familiar with these plants but when i get sunburnt plants i mive them to a different location and try to find a place where they would be happy
