Hi, hope everyone is good! Any advice on whats going on with my monstera? There are no pests in sight. Are the brown areas down to underwatering? Thanks!

I would say this is normal for variegated plants. I’ve heard that you can add silica to your water to keep the white parts white for longer, but I haven’t tried it myself so I can’t say. That’s just normal leaf aging for the parts of the plant that don’t have chlorophyll

Thank you for your reply, willl look into silica. I thought the issue was watering as i have had her 3 years and never had any browning on variegated areas untill 5 month ago! Thanks
