My Flaming Katy seems to be suffering at the roots. I’ve been finding these tiny flies in the soil and now branches are breaking off where the stem meets the soil because it’s so brittle. Any idea why and how I can save it?

Too much water. Let it dry out all the way before watering- they are like a succulent.

2개 좋아요i love my kalanchoe! one of my favorites and very hardy in my experience. I like to make sure I break up the top soil occasionally to avoid it getting too compacted, but be careful of the roots. sometimes it’s more light, maybe try an insecticide but the plant should be patient while you figure it out :)
