    For sure. Plant in sandy succulent mix and get yourself a water meter to help from overwatering and your good. I had one just like this two weeks ago and I is doing great.

    Yes, but cut the stem and get rid of the brown mushy and rot first, other wise it'll keep rotting and not grow. It looks like where you're holding it, there are a couple of healthy nodes for roots to grow.

      Can I just cut it where it looks green still and plop it back into the water?

      Yes, but wait an hour or two for it to callous over before putting into water.
