help😪my angel wing plant (i named her Raven) is so bipolar. She was drooping after i repotted her about 3 weeks ago, but she perked right back up. I don’t know what changed, but she’s drooping again. I’ve tried a few different things. I moved it to my bedroom for better light a few days ago. no change so far. i check the moisture level with the meter, and it was at a 3 out of 10. so a few days ago, i watered her until the water came out of the drainage holes and i dumped the water from the pan after 30 minutes. no change. any other suggestions? one of the leaves is turning tan and is crispy. the other leaves are fine

and i had the leaves facing the window so they could absorb more light but just rotated the pot hoping that they will start to grow more upwards. the leaves are not bending away from the window!

Tan and crispy is having me thinking about humidity levels. Unsure what humidity level this plant needs. She’s gorgeous and hopefully she starts leveling out for you!

i mist her every few days and i haven’t let the soil dry out more than i should. i do see a little leaf coming in so i think that’s a good sign but i wish she would stand up straight. at least she’s pretty to look at šŸ˜‚

Yay to the little leaf!! A humidifier would be ideal compared to misting. Misting is more for us than the plantsšŸ˜… May need to get supports for her? I have a begonia that just struggles to stand up on her own unfortunately

i live in orlando so it’s already a pretty humid city. i did have it next to my defuser previously but i sacrificed the humidity for the lack of light. maybe that was a mistake

Hmm, can see if they continue to get crispy and maybe that’ll give us some more direction. Best of luck!!ā˜ŗļø

smart ! i give my plants fertilizer through water and the soil is fairly new so im afraid of over fertilizing. i’ve also heard it isn’t smart to fertilize a stressed plant. i ordered a moss pole. hopefully some support will do her right !

That’s a type of caladium - they usually go dormant in the winter so I’m not surprised the leaves are drooping. I dig up the bulbs every winter and replant them in the spring
