Help. I repotted my string of dolphins into a container with drainage and succulent soil about 2 days ago. It was pretty wet so I did not water it. It’s under a grow light for 12 hours a day. I moved it over there in the light about a week ago. In my other post asking for help, people have told me to see how it goes in the new container, others have told me to choose the green part and propagate it, or to cut the green part and put it in water to grow roots. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to loose this plant. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you.

You should do both! Propagate and have a pot with drainage. I hate to say it since you’ve already made the effort & are trying your best but the new pot is probably too big so be extra careful watering. Your plant likely doesn’t have near enough roots to use all the water that soil can retain

Agreed. I only mist the top of my sop everyday now after losing almost all of it and she’s starting to come back 🥹

Good call! This is one of the only cases where I rec misting. Best way to avoid root rot until it can get reestablished

Hey Maddie - you can also take the vines and circle/lay them on the top of the soil. They will begin to root in the soil and fill in the gaps. Might make sense since it’s in a larger pot than necessary.
