Donโ€™t strictly use Plantaโ€™s watering schedule. Always verify the plant needs water. Delay watering if the soil is still wet. Water more often if the soil dries faster than the schedule. ๐Ÿชด๐Ÿ€

Astilbes are bog-loving plants that like dappled shade rather than full sun, and they love damp, almost wet soil. If you can, move your astilbe into the shade in summer and make sure the soil stays wet. I live in Australia where it can get really hot and the same thing happened to mine. It now sits in a pot of water on the balcony in the shade and itโ€™s coming back. Theyโ€™re also bulb plants, so even if it dies off, it will come back next summer if it gets winter water :)

It's possible you have a variety that just finishes blooming early. Otherwise, they are sensitive to heat. Make sure it gets enough water, and either mist it or give it some shade on the hottest days
