Hello guys I got this aglaonema last month, all the leaves were green then turned yellow i was told it was normal but now I lost 3 leaves and about to lose another . I was watering when soil was still damp like twice so I waited till completely dry and water today w/ fertilizer. Could that have been the problem? Should I repot ?does it need a bigger pot , and check the roots ?

I have this issue with mine… I repotted into a chunky soil mix, moved it under a grow light (250 foot candles), and only water when it’s dry.

There was also another poster a while ago, who shared that the plant might be sensitive to some things in tapwater, so perhaps you can try R O or distilled water

Thank youu for this ! Already have been using distilled water and will be using a stronger grow light. I’ll probably repot it too.

There are new leaves coming in, so I have hope that this will help him thrive.

This looks like root rot. I would take it out of the pot and take any rotten roots out and repot into a chunkier mix
