Do you have it near a radiator as spider web plants like cooler temperatures of around 15 degrees Celsius and bright indirect lighting, also if humidity is low it would be best to give it a mist from time to time, I donāt have this plant but looked at purchasing a few times, most garden centers Iāve seen it in has been outside or part under cover, not in a hot room with house plants, soil should stay slightly moist but not soggy, let the top 2 inches dry out between waterings
2 likesThanks for replying Tom. I have moved it into the living room which is actually one of the cooler rooms in the house, perhaps I could mist i, I thought misting was a bit of a 'fable' tbh? š„²št

I also wonder about misting. Itās WAY easier to take care of houseplants if you donāt have to constantly mist them. I have 30 plants.
2 likesMisting only helps for a short period of time, I mist 2-3 a week which does raise the humidity of the room the plants are in, winter time air seems to dry out more than summer time, I used to use a humidifier for a few hours 1 day a week. Not all plants require higher humidity, some prefer natural indoor humidity, some even lower if you got plants like cactus type. I like to keep humidity around 60-62% but lately been dropping to mid 50ās, within 30minuted of misting itās back up to 62%. Some say misting can cause issues with the leaves if left wet but I find there dry within 1hr, I do use a house plant mist which has nutrients for them. I donāt use plain water to mist and can leave droplets marks on leaves unless you use distilled water in your mister

1 likeI bought my Fatsia recently and kinda just ignore it! Iām not an expert with it but this is what I do: Iām in the UK too - itās in my cold flat and about 2 metres from a window. It gets the edges of a grow lightās reach. I water it when the leaves start to visibly droop, the stems (?) start to lower down and thatās my sign to water. I bottom water just a bit and if it soaks it up quick I add some more. I do mist it once a day but canāt say whether this does or doesnāt do anything for this plant. Mineās just in the potting mix it came in from the garden centre. From your pictures the main difference between yours and mine is that some of your leaves are looking wilted, so maybe overwatering? Hope that helps somewhat!
2 likesThanks Paz, that's great! It's deffo not been overwatered as I've been so conscious about not doing that since buying new house plants. Originally it was in the hall, but then I noticed the brown spots appearing so moved it. Anyhow, I will take your advice and leave it alone a bit! Ha! I also like bottom watering and think I will mist it a bit more. I think misting has made some of my plants soil a bit mouldy on the top, š
