Was wondering why some of my leaves keep turning yellow when other ones are growing. The plant doesn’t get any bigger because every time one grows one dies.

this plant is crazzzzy sick 🤧 you need to get it out of that pot and check the roots and reevaluate the overall conditions, light especially the fact that it’s still growing means all is not yet lost, but this won’t last forever. you gotta find out what’s wrong

Looks like a caladium. They grow from bulbs and live in partial shade or indirect light. They like moist soil and only need watering when the top of the soil dries. This looks overwatered based on the yellowing and limped leaves. I agree the roots need to be checked and also the bulbs. Check the pot size versus the root density. Is there a lot more soil compared to the roots? Then, the water could take too long to dry out and rot the roots. I recommend removing all the pebbles off the top soil to allow evaporation to dry out soil faster. Only cactus/succulents can grow well with gravel. Note, insufficient light can give the same limp and yellowing leaves. Give the plant at least 10 hours of indirect light a day.
