I had two plants that for sure had thrips, and several other plants where they seemed to have pest damage but no visible pests themselves that I could see. I’m treating them the best I can, but how do you know when a plant is safe to take out of quarantine from this kind of thing? I’m so scared of spreading them again!

Personally I'd give it two weeks of no pest sightings to be sure. Still it all depends on the plant and pest. Never a guarantee so...leap of faith 😂

good to know I’m not the only one who feels like they’re taking a leap of faith 😂

Thrips have a 21 day life cycle, so you want to wait at least that long. I usually do another week or so after that, and if I see even 1 pest I start my cycle over again. Thrips are the worst 👎🏻

There are a couple other comments above this with more thrips treatment ideas. Good luck, I’m dealing with them now. Fun times.
