Emergency!! I noticed these on my pothos today! It’s all over the soil and on the bottom of the pot. Is it mold??? Or eggs 😭!! Please help.

    Type of mold!! My cactus has these and I kinda just ignore them cuz I kept getting poked… Nothing bad has happened to my plant, but you could easily scoop them out with a spade I think

    It’s a harmless mold that occurs when a plant is in consistently wet/moist soil. If you want it to go away let the plant dry out in between watering.

    Some type of fungus, prolly a mold. To get rid of this, take out the plant and soak the soil in boiling water. To help reduce in the future , reduce watering.

    If you notice the mold keeps coming back or spreading then the plant might be retaining moisture for too long. Having good airflow, like having a fan on, can mitigate the mold.
