My spider plant is not and has not been doing well, I’m not really sure why though, I’ve tried adjusting what I initially thought was wrong but it’s still having issues, I recently found all of its leaves completely drooped, like they couldn’t hold themselves up anymore, is this under watering? Overwatering? Or something completely different? It also has had the tips of its leaves turning brown since I got it a couple months ago

when the tips of leaves turn brown, it usually indicates that the plant needs more humidity or water in general. you could invest in a humidifier, use a pebble tray, mist, or place near other plants to increase the humidity. my spider plant has done well in a bathroom if you'd want to try that too. hope this helps! :)

Thank you! I’ve never considered humidity as I live in a very humid state but maybe my apartment itself is dry, I have it next to quite a few other plants and I unfortunately don’t think I could put it in the bathroom, do you think a spray bottle every so often would help for mist?

there's a lot of debate about if misting actually works, but if you spray around twice a day i (personally) think it does help. the brown tips won't turn green again so you can just pinch them off, but misting should help keep the newer leaves green.

Do you have a pic? What's the watering schedule? I agree the brown tips are humidity issue, almost every time. I personally mist my high humidity plants. Contrary to people online nay-saying, misting does help, I've tracked it with my hygrometer.

I don’t currently have one but can get one, I currently have it tied up with yarn and have watered it to hopefully help with the drooping as that helped a different plant of mine, and I now plan on getting something to help mist it!

Gotcha. Limp can be caused by either over or under watering. If its under you should notice a difference by this evening.
