Make sure to water good mine always get two dry
0 likesThey naturally grow in boggy environments so you can recreate that by pitting them in moss and putting them inside a tray with sides or a larger container filled a quarter to a third of the way with water, and they love lots of sun and can do well in direct sunlight. Judging by your photo, they might benefit from more light.

0 likesIt would really be a question of WHY it isn't doing well. They should be kept in a water tray (NO tap or spring water... only Reverse Osmosis, Distilled or Rain water). They are ideally an outdoor plant, they don't do well in normal inside conditions usually. If kept indoors they need a period of dormancy, otherwise they can have issues. Lighting is a large thing for them, they need bright sun light. Other issues can be nutrient based, if they aren't feeding, they need to be fed, or supplemented (sparingly if you supplement)
1 likeThank you so much! Advice for plants kept my little flytrap inside...
0 likesThey can live inside, i personally have a few indoors. But they are under super bright grow lights, plus they get a dormancy period and fertilizer/feeding. Even the south window in my home wasn't enough to keep them happy. Which is the problem of most dying when kept indoors, in addition to the lack of food.
1 likeUnfortunately TJs and Hardware stores sell them in those little greenhouse cups with no info or incorrect info.
0 likesIf imma be honest where I live it's really dry, so my neighbor was telling me I should make like a terrarium, use a humidifier, ECT but that's complicated :(
0 likesIts drying here right now. As long as they are in a water tray, and you keep it filled, they should still be fine. I have a little "bog" of trays outside with different carnivorous plants. And it gets 73-95 here generally in the summer. With not a lot of rain, I just fill the trays with distilled or RO water.
1 likeMost of the time after a Venus fly trap gets a fly the trap dies off. Also make sure you aren’t giving it mineral water only distilled or rain water.
