I love the idea of plants but clearly have no idea what I'm doing. My bf got me this money tree a few months back but the plant's really gone downhill! He looks terrible and keeps dropping leaves and the last one is barely hanging on. Is this plant too far gone or can I fix him? He is in a draining pot inside another pot.

Where does he live in your house? My money plants are in eastern windows and doing well. They are only about a foot away but they don’t really get any direct light just indirect. How often do you water him? It’s best to test the top of the soil to see if it’s dried between watering.

He's in the bathroom since I don't really have other good places for him. He's by a big window but the blinds aren't open all the time. There are two skylights that usually let in a good amount of light.

I can't really see the top , if there's any leaves. But my money tree dropped all the leaves and grew all new ones and they are much bigger so just get some light on it and water and wait to see if it will grow new leaves

There's one very droopy leaf that I'm surprised hasn't fallen off yet. Soil is pretty dry on top. I can try moving him to a better spot but I don't know if there are any places he can go besides where he is

I had a money tree that I kept in my bathroom tub with a south facing window and it thrived. I kept my blinds wide open. It grew to about 4 feet. Had to leave it behind when I moved.
