If you can, try to put the plants in a tent instead of free releasing them. Ladybugs will fly away if there isn’t enough to eat and are quick to die inside without some maintenance. Ie, misting so they can drink water. What pests are you dealing with?

You can buy breathable fine mesh to cover the plant to encourage the ladybugs, or better yet buy ladybug larvae which are voracious pest eaters. Also the adults need water so mist your indoor plants to help keep them alive.
