   The back label should list the active ingredients. Without knowing what it is I couldn’t be for certain

     The active ingredient is Deltamethrin, a neurotoxin that is generally safe for humans and toxic aquatic life especially fish. It’s widely used to kill mosquitoes that spread malaria. It’s actually processed into mosquito nets in African countries to control mosquitoes and bedbugs. Neurotoxins affect the nervous system. Deltamethrin absorbed through the skin can cause skin partial paralysis like symptoms leaving the skin crawling, burning and itching. It triggers asthma and shows up in mother’s milk after skin absorption. Definitely, wear protective gear, keep away from pregnant or nursing moms and aquatic life. No antidotes. It wears out of your body over time. Other articles state bugs like thrips, spider mites, mosquitoes and bedbugs build up a resistant to it.
