I initially was so excited about my dumb cane dieffenbachia when I first bought it.. but it’s not full and bushy like I would like. I’m kinda over it.. but how can I fix “leggy” plants?? Help!! 😥

It probably needs more light, it’s reaching and stretching looking for light. How much light does it get throughout the day?

Unfortunately it’s kinda hard to get it to return as bushy as it was when you got it. I studied this plant and once I found out if it doesn’t get the lighting it needs and a high level of humidity it would drop leaves. I passed on purchasing it. Everyone I know who has this plant theirs is leggy also now. Maybe if you supply it with a pebble tray and a constant grow light and watch your watering you may start to get some new growth at least

My dieffenbachia is in an east facing window (live in MA), I water her when about 75% dry, and she’s given me about 12 new leaves in the past month. Not sure where you’re located, but this is all mine asks for from me.
