I received this plant in the mail from what I thought was a reputable plant company. I had to spend about 20-30 minutes scrubbing and cleaning this off. It did NOT want to come off. It was raised and the leaves that had it on them are all soft and flimsy. I found it on multiple leaves all over the plant. I’m thinking scale but it looks nothing like the pictures online. Regardless, the plant is not happy. Before I reach out to the plant company’s customer service, I’d like some help figuring out what it is. Is this scale? P.S. - I used a mixture of Castile soap, alcohol, essential oils, and hydrogen peroxide with a microfiber cloth.
