One of the leaves of my plant seemed to be dead but some slimy, oey, goey stuff came out of the leaf 🍃 What should I do and what is happening to my plant? 🌱 Please comment back if you have any ideas on what I should do and if you know what is happening to my plant. 🪴 Thank you so much ☺️ I really appreciate it 🙏🏼

    Eeek sounds like rot. It may be too late but I would take it out of its pot and look for any signs of mushiness or black on the roots and cut those off with clean shears. Then repot in fresh potting mix and wait and see.

    I agree with the rot diagnosis. Is it an orchid? If so they shouldn’t be watered using ice cubes despite the fact their tags often say to, and make sure you use the correct type of media for them when you repot

      I would watch orchid care videos on YouTube, they do a good job explaining why they need to be cared for the way they do. Using bark instead of soil, watering based on how the roots look, etc
