I rescued this alocasia- she is not happy. I have put her in aroid soil, on top of a pebble/ water tray, mist with distilled water, and she has bright but not direct light- I have had her 2 weeks. I just gave her new soil today. She is in a nursery pot with drainage. I bottom water her when the top inch or two of soil are dry. I have not done any fertilizer yet- I don’t want to make too many changes too fast. Any advice? Tips? Thank you.
I wish i could give advice but mine died and idk why..

좋아요 1개One of my leaves on mine went from this to this…in a matter of days for unknown reasons. The rest of the plant is fine.
Pollys are finicky. 😬 Your setup sounds perfect, though. I’d give it some time to stabilize before fertilizing, and here are a couple things I’d switch up: I’d stop misting the leaves and switch to a humidifier. Misting creates a wet environment that breeds fungus and bacteria. (Ask me how I know. 😒) I’d also switch to top watering for a bit until the new soil mix settles.

좋아요 1개This sounds so great! I struggle with mine because every time it gives a new leave, it kills another. So I only have 3 leaves at a time. I’d say you’re doing a wonderful job, and it should bounce back!
